I believe in God the Father Almighty, the maker of Heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only son our Lord:

We are not alone, we live in God's world.
We believe in God: who has created and is creating,

who has come in Jesus, the Word made flesh, to reconcile and make new, who works in us and others by the Spirit.

We trust in God.

We are called to be the Church:

to celebrate God's presence,
to live with respect in Creation,
to love and serve others,
to seek justice and resist evil,
to proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen, our judge and our hope. In life, in death, in life beyond death,
God is with us.

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is the one true Church, apostolic and universal, whose holy faith let us now declare:

For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven; by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and became truly human.

On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
